This searchable archive has been established as a way of celebrating the 150th anniversary of the founding of our school, part of our jubilee celebrations from 2022-2023.
The Ladies' College has been a pioneering institution in Guernsey since 1872. This archive reveals some of the ways the school at been in the vanguard of change from curriculum and sport to technology and the arts, as well of being of use to those researching family history. The majority of the records currently available date from 1905 onwards, when the College magazine, later Ilex, was established.
